Doodle Digits — Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-06-11

This Privacy Policy describes how Funattic Studio (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use Doodle Digits (the “App”).

We’ve kept the App deliberately minimal in what it collects. Doodle Digits is a single-player offline puzzle game with no accounts, no online play, and no servers of our own. We do not receive any personal data from your play sessions. Everything below is about data that third-party services (the App Store, Google Play, AdMob, RevenueCat) handle on your device or on their own backends — never on ours.

1. Information stored on your device

All gameplay data lives only on your device, in local storage:

We never see this data. Uninstalling the App removes it.

2. Information we do NOT collect

We don’t collect:

The App does not run any analytics SDKs and does not phone home with gameplay events.

3. Information third parties may receive

The App relies on a small set of third-party services to function. These parties handle data according to their own privacy policies, not ours; we don’t have direct access to anything they collect.

3.1 In-app purchases — Apple, Google, RevenueCat

When you buy a theme, Remove Ads, or a bonus pack, the purchase is processed by Apple (on iOS) or Google (on Android). We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements (which non-consumable items, such as themes and Remove Ads, you’ve unlocked).

RevenueCat’s privacy practices are documented at revenuecat.com/privacy.

3.2 Ads — Google AdMob

The App is partly supported by ads served through Google AdMob:

AdMob may collect device information (device model, OS version, language, coarse location derived from IP, ad interaction events) and, on iOS, the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) — but only if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission when the App asks. If you decline ATT, AdMob serves non-personalized ads and does not receive the IDFA. On Android the equivalent identifier (GAID) is governed by your device’s “Ads” settings.

We never receive these identifiers, and we don’t use them. Google’s ad-serving practices are documented at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

3.3 Notifications

If you grant notification permission (the App asks the first time you claim a daily reward), the App schedules a local notification 24 hours out so you remember to claim the next reward. There is no push server and no push token sent anywhere — local notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely by your device’s operating system.

4. Information we do NOT use

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs other than AdMob (for ad serving) and RevenueCat (for IAP entitlements). We do not run Firebase, Sentry, or any other backend service for this App. We do not build profiles, sell data, or share data for advertising or marketing.

5. Where data is stored

We don’t operate any server that holds your data.

6. Data retention

7. Your choices

7.1 Tracking (iOS)

When you launch the App for the first time on iOS, you’ll see Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Whichever choice you make is respected: AdMob serves personalized ads if granted, non-personalized ads if denied, and the App works the same either way. You can change this later under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Doodle Digits on iOS.

7.2 Notifications

You can turn notifications off at any time from your device’s system settings. Doing so does not affect anything else in the App; the daily reward still works the same — you just won’t get a reminder.

7.3 Restoring purchases

If you reinstall the App or switch devices, Store → Restore purchases will re-fetch your previously bought non-consumable unlocks (themes, Remove Ads) from your Apple or Google account. Consumable bonus packs already credited to a previous install can’t be restored to a new device, because the App has no cross-device account system.

7.4 Removing all local data

Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored game data (high scores, inventory, themes, daily-reward counters, language preference, etc.). On both iOS and Android the operating system also offers an “Offload App” / “Clear data” option that achieves the same thing without uninstalling.

8. Children’s privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App stores only local game state and runs no analytics, there is no personal information for any user — child or otherwise — that we could collect.

The App does show ads (when not removed by purchase). On platforms that support a “made for kids” or family setting, AdMob applies its child-directed treatment automatically. If you’re a parent or guardian and have questions about ad serving in the App, contact us at the address below.

9. Security

The App makes no calls to any backend operated by us, so there is no account credential to protect. Calls to third-party services (AdMob, RevenueCat, Apple, Google) are made over encrypted HTTPS connections managed by their respective SDKs.

If you discover a security issue, please contact us at the address below.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
