Doodle Digits — Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-06-11
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Doodle Digits (the “App”), provided by Funattic Studio (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.
1. The App
Doodle Digits is a single-player number puzzle game styled to feel like a graph-paper notebook. You cross out pairs of digits that are equal or sum to ten, working through skill levels and theming the paper world to your taste. There is no online play, no leaderboard, and no opponent — every game is played offline on your device.
We may update, change, or remove features at any time. We aim to keep the core game free and playable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service of the optional ad-supported and in-app-purchase features, which depend on third-party platforms.
2. Your “account”
The App does not have user accounts. You don’t sign up, you don’t pick a display name, and you don’t give us your email, phone number, or any other identifier. Your high scores, inventory (hints, undos, wilds), unlocked themes, and in-flight game are saved locally on your device.
In-app purchases (themes, Remove Ads, bonus packs) are tied to the App Store or Google Play account that paid for them — not to any in-app identity — and can be re-fetched via Restore purchases in the Store.
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored progress is removed by your operating system. There is nothing to delete on our side because we don’t hold any user data on our side.
3. Acceptable use
When using the App, you agree to:
- Not interfere with the App’s operation, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or exploit bugs to manipulate scores, inventory, daily rewards, or in-app purchases.
- Not attempt to defeat the ad-cap logic, falsify rewarded-ad completions, or otherwise grant yourself paid content without paying.
- Not redistribute the App, its themes, or its assets outside the official App Store and Google Play listings.
We may disable features (for example, refusing to grant rewarded-ad inventory) for installs that we detect as tampered.
4. In-app purchases
The App offers two kinds of optional purchases:
- Non-consumable unlocks — Remove Ads and visual theme packs (e.g. Blueprint). These are bought once and persist across reinstalls and devices via the platform’s purchase history.
- Consumable bonus packs — small and large packs of hints, undos, and wilds that add to your in-game inventory and are spent during play.
None of the paid content changes the underlying game rules. Themes are purely visual; bonus packs are convenience items that the game also gives out for free via daily rewards and rewarded ads.
4.1 How purchases work
Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store (on iOS) or Google Play (on Android), with RevenueCat as the entitlement broker:
- You’re billed by Apple or Google according to their terms — not by us.
- Non-consumable unlocks are tied to the App Store / Google Play account that made the purchase. You can use Store → Restore purchases at any time to re-fetch them (e.g. after reinstalling or switching devices).
- Consumable bonus packs are credited to the local inventory on the device that made the purchase. They are not synced across devices, because the App has no account system.
4.2 Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google, not by us:
- iOS: visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Android: visit your Google Play purchase history
We don’t have direct access to the payment system and cannot issue refunds ourselves. If you have a complaint about an in-app purchase that the platform’s refund process can’t resolve, contact us and we’ll do what we can.
4.3 No real-money winnings
Doodle Digits is a puzzle game. High scores, daily rewards, and bonus inventory have no real-world cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for real-world money or prizes. There is no gambling component.
5. Ads
The App is free and supported in part by ads served through Google AdMob:
- Interstitial ads may appear after a game ends. Players who have bought Remove Ads, and players in their first few games, never see these.
- Rewarded ads are strictly opt-in. You may choose to watch one in exchange for a small bonus (one hint, one undo, or one wild). We grant the reward only if the ad provider reports the ad was watched to completion.
On iOS, the App asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before showing ads. Whichever choice you make is respected: AdMob serves personalized ads if granted, non-personalized ads if denied, and the App works the same either way.
6. Daily rewards and notifications
The App grants a small bonus (a hint, an undo, or a wild) on a 24-hour cooldown. The first time you claim, the App asks for permission to send local notifications, which it uses solely to remind you 24 hours later that the next reward is ready. We never send marketing notifications, and all notifications are scheduled locally on the device — there is no push server. You can disable notifications at any time from your device’s system settings without affecting the rest of the App.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its visual design, the themes (free and paid), the puzzle and matching logic, the tutorial content, and all related materials are owned by Funattic Studio and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. The Schoolbell font and any other third-party assets used in the App are licensed from their respective creators.
You may not redistribute, sell, or republish the App or its content without our prior written permission.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
Ad availability, in-app-purchase processing, and rewarded-ad fulfillment depend on third-party services (AdMob, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play). We’re not responsible for delays or failures caused by those services.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Funattic Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of progress, lost inventory, or interrupted service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us through in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £5 (five pounds), whichever is lower.
This section doesn’t limit liability that can’t be excluded by law in your jurisdiction (for example, liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct).
10. Termination
You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We can terminate or suspend access to features (for example, ad-based rewards) for installs that violate these Terms or applicable law. Termination doesn’t entitle either party to a refund, except as required by Apple or Google’s policies.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we’ll update the “Effective date” at the top. Material changes will be brought to your attention through the App or our website. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Funattic Studio is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where a mandatory consumer-protection law in your country grants you the right to proceed in your local courts.
