Who we are
Soluna is a personalized astrology app by Funattic Studio. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
What we collect and why
- Birth details (date, time, place): used solely to compute your astrological chart and generate your readings. This is the core of the app.
- Account email (only if you sign in with Google/Apple): used to restore your data across devices. Sign-in is optional.
- Device push token (only if you enable notifications): used to deliver your daily reading reminder. Opt-in, revocable in Settings.
- Current timezone (only if you enable notifications): used to time your reminder correctly.
- Subscription status (via RevenueCat): used to unlock Premium features. Payment details are handled by Apple/Google — we never see them.
What we do NOT do
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not use your data for advertising or tracking. We do not share your birth details with anyone except as needed to operate the service (below).
Service providers
Your data is processed by:
- Neon (database hosting, encrypted at rest)
- Render (API hosting)
- Anthropic (reading generation — receives chart positions, never your name/email/exact birth details)
- LocationIQ (birthplace geocoding — receives the place name you type)
- Google Firebase (sign-in and push delivery)
- RevenueCat (subscriptions)
- Expo (push delivery)
All connections are encrypted (TLS).
Compatibility readings
If you enter another person's birth details for a compatibility reading, we use them only to compute that reading; they are not stored as a profile and are not used for any other purpose.
Your rights (GDPR/CCPA)
In Settings you can: export everything we hold about you (Settings → Privacy), and permanently delete all your data (Settings → Privacy → Delete my data). Deletion is immediate and irreversible. You can also email us for either request.
Retention
Your data is kept while your profile exists. Deleting your data removes it from our production systems immediately.
Children
Soluna is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EEA) and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Soluna is for reflection and entertainment. Readings are not medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice.
