Zoodoku — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Funattic Studio (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use Zoodoku (the “App”).
Zoodoku is a single-player offline puzzle game — a wild take on Sudoku, played with animal pieces. There are no accounts, no online play, and no servers of our own. We do not receive any personal data from your play sessions. Everything below concerns data that third-party services (the App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat) handle on your device or on their own backends — never on ours.
1. Information stored on your device
All gameplay data lives only on your device, in local storage:
- High scores (score, best streak, and the date achieved)
- In-flight game state (the board, your current pieces, and score, so you can resume after relaunching)
- Your selected animal pack and color theme
- Which animal packs you’ve unlocked (a local cache of your purchases)
We never see this data. Uninstalling the App removes it.
2. Information we do NOT collect
We don’t collect:
- Your email address, phone number, or real name
- A user account, display name, or in-app identifier
- Your location
- Your contacts
- Your photos, microphone, or camera
- Any analytics about how you play
- Any crash or diagnostic data
The App runs no analytics SDKs and does not phone home with gameplay events. It works fully offline; the only time it reaches the network is to process and restore in-app purchases (see §3).
3. Information third parties may receive
The App relies on a small set of third-party services for in-app purchases. These parties handle data according to their own privacy policies, not ours; we don’t have direct access to anything they collect.
3.1 In-app purchases — Apple, Google, RevenueCat
Zoodoku is free to play with one animal pack included. You can optionally buy additional animal packs, or an “Unlock Every Animal” bundle. When you make a purchase, it’s processed by Apple (on iOS) or Google (on Android). We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements (which animal packs you’ve unlocked).
- Apple / Google receive the purchase details and your payment information according to their terms. We never see your payment details.
- RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-installation identifier and the list of products you’ve purchased so it can tell the App which packs are unlocked. It does not receive your name, email, or payment details.

All purchased animal packs are non-consumable: a one-time purchase unlocks them permanently, and you can restore them on a new device (see §7).
3.2 Sharing with friends
The App has a “Share with friends” button that opens your device’s standard share sheet with a link to the App. The share sheet is provided by your operating system — you choose whether and where to send the link, and the App itself doesn’t transmit anything or learn what you chose.
4. Information we do NOT use
We do not use any advertising or analytics SDKs, and the App shows no ads. We do not run Firebase, Sentry, or any other backend service for this App. We do not build profiles, sell data, or share data for advertising or marketing. The only third party the App communicates with is RevenueCat (together with the Apple / Google payment systems) for in-app purchases.
5. Where data is stored
- Local game data (scores, saved game, selected pack and theme, and the unlocked-pack cache) is stored only on your device, in the App’s AsyncStorage area, managed by the operating system.
- In-app purchase records are held by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat according to their respective practices, on their own servers.
We don’t operate any server that holds your data.
6. Data retention
- Local game data is retained for as long as the App is installed. Uninstalling the App removes it. There is no equivalent of an “account deletion” because there is no account.
- In-app purchase records are retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat under their own retention policies.
7. Your choices
7.1 Restoring purchases
If you reinstall the App or switch devices, Animals → Restore Purchases will re-fetch the animal packs you previously bought from your Apple or Google account. Because all packs are non-consumable, every purchase can be restored this way.
7.2 Removing all local data
Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored game data (high scores, saved game, selected pack and theme, and the unlocked-pack cache). On both iOS and Android the operating system also offers an “Offload App” / “Clear data” option that achieves the same thing without uninstalling.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because it stores only local game state, runs no analytics, and shows no ads, there is no personal information for any user — child or otherwise — that we could collect. 9. Security
The App makes no calls to any backend operated by us, so there is no account credential to protect. Calls to third-party services (RevenueCat, Apple, Google) for in-app purchases are made over encrypted HTTPS connections managed by their respective SDKs.

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
