Zoodoku — Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-06-15
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Zoodoku (the “App”), provided by Funattic Studio (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.
1. The App
Zoodoku is a single-player puzzle game — a wild take on Sudoku, played with animal pieces. You place animal-shaped blocks onto a grid and clear full rows, columns, and boxes to score points and build streaks. There is no online play, no leaderboard, and no opponent — every game is played offline on your device.
We may update, change, or remove features at any time. We aim to keep the core game free and playable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service of the optional in-app-purchase features, which depend on third-party platforms.
2. Your “account”
The App does not have user accounts. You don’t sign up, you don’t pick a display name, and you don’t give us your email, phone number, or any other identifier. Your high scores, selected animal pack and theme, unlocked animal packs, and in-flight game are saved locally on your device.
In-app purchases (animal packs) are tied to the App Store or Google Play account that paid for them — not to any in-app identity — and can be re-fetched via Restore Purchases.
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored progress is removed by your operating system. There is nothing to delete on our side because we don’t hold any user data on our side.
3. Acceptable use
When using the App, you agree to:
- Not interfere with the App’s operation, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or exploit bugs to manipulate scores or in-app purchases.
- Not attempt to grant yourself paid content without paying.
- Not redistribute the App, its animal packs, or its assets outside the official App Store and Google Play listings.
We may disable features for installs that we detect as tampered.
4. In-app purchases
Zoodoku is free to play with one animal pack included. You can optionally buy additional animal packs, or an “Unlock Every Animal” bundle that unlocks them all at once. These are non-consumable unlocks: you buy them once and they persist across reinstalls and devices via the platform’s purchase history.
Paid content does not change the underlying game rules. Animal packs are purely cosmetic — they change which animals appear on the pieces you play.
4.1 How purchases work
Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store (on iOS) or Google Play (on Android), with RevenueCat as the entitlement broker:
- You’re billed by Apple or Google according to their terms — not by us.
- Unlocks are tied to the App Store / Google Play account that made the purchase. You can use Restore Purchases at any time to re-fetch them (e.g. after reinstalling or switching devices).
4.2 Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google, not by us:
- iOS: visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Android: visit your Google Play purchase history
We don’t have direct access to the payment system and cannot issue refunds ourselves. If you have a complaint about an in-app purchase that the platform’s refund process can’t resolve, contact us at the address below and we’ll do what we can.
4.3 No real-money winnings
Zoodoku is a puzzle game. High scores have no real-world cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for real-world money or prizes. There is no gambling component.
5. Intellectual property
The App, its visual design, the animal artwork and packs, the puzzle and scoring logic, and all related materials are owned by Funattic Studio and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Any third-party assets used in the App are licensed from their respective creators.
You may not redistribute, sell, or republish the App or its content without our prior written permission.
6. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
In-app-purchase processing depends on third-party services (RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play). We’re not responsible for delays or failures caused by those services.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Funattic Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of progress or interrupted service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us through in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £5 (five pounds), whichever is lower.
This section doesn’t limit liability that can’t be excluded by law in your jurisdiction (for example, liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct).
8. Termination
You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We can terminate or suspend access to features for installs that violate these Terms or applicable law. Termination doesn’t entitle either party to a refund, except as required by Apple or Google’s policies.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we’ll update the “Effective date” at the top. Material changes will be brought to your attention through the App or our website. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Funattic Studio is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where a mandatory consumer-protection law in your country grants you the right to proceed in your local courts.
